Slack

Deliver schema-change alerts to a Slack channel.

Slack is a delivery channel for alerts. Connect it once, pick a channel, and the schema changes you watch with alert rules post straight to Slack.

Connect Slack

You connect with Add to Slack — there's nothing to create in Slack and nothing to paste into SchemaForce.

Open the Slack integration

Go to the Integrations page and choose Add to Slack.

Approve in Slack and pick a channel

You approve the request in Slack and choose which channel alerts should post to. SchemaForce receives a channel-scoped incoming webhook — it can only post to the channel you picked.

Confirm it works

The tile shows the connected workspace and channel. Use Send test to post a sample message, and Disconnect whenever you want to remove the connection.

How alerts arrive in Slack

When a sync detects a change that matches one of your alert rules, SchemaForce posts a color-coded card to the channel with a View changes button that links back into the app.

You decide which alerts go to Slack when you set up your rules. Slack is one of the channels you can pick while configuring an alert rule — alongside in-app and email.

Connecting is free; Slack delivery is Pro

Connecting Slack is free, but Slack delivery is a Pro feature. On the Free plan, alerts still arrive in-app and by email — you just can't route them to Slack. See Plans & billing for what's included on each tier.
